Since energy is inversely proportional to wavelength, the decrease in wavelength for both second- and third- generation only mean that they are stronger and more effective in burning fat cells.

Since the third-generation produces lowest wavelength among the three, it also produces the highest energy which stimulates and metabolizes fat cells. Thus, a lipo treatment using third-generation lasers is quicker, not to mention more efficient, in reducing body fat. Since the treatment is faster, it also means that the patients would spend less given that the the number of sessions required to obtain favorable results would also be reduced.
