How Effective are Third Generation Lipo Lasers in Reducing Body Fat?
Unfortunately, not everyone can physically undergo this procedure. The main reason is the unwillingness of most patients to suffer the pain and discomfort that would inevitably follow right after the surgery. For this type of patient, non-invasive cosmetic procedure using third generation lipo lasers is the better option to shape the body.
What is a third-generation lipo laser?
Though contour light liposuction is a fairly new procedure, the lipo laser has undergone several changes in the past few years with succeeding generations surpassing the capabilities of the previous ones. As such, third generation lipo lasers are considered to be the most effective in terms of body shaping.
Each generation is strictly defined by the light wavelength they produced. For example, the initial generation of lipo lasers have an average wavelength of 670 nm while the second generation gives a wavelength of around 650 nm. The third generation, on the other hand, averages around 635 nm. Since energy is inversely proportional to wavelength, the decrease in wavelength for both second- and third- generation only mean that they are stronger and more effective in burning fat cells.
Advantage of using third-generation lipo lasers
Since the third-generation produces lowest wavelength among the three, it also produces the highest energy which stimulates and metabolizes fat cells. Thus, a lipo treatment using third-generation lasers is quicker, not to mention more efficient, in reducing body fat. Since the treatment is faster, it also means that the patients would spend less given that the the number of sessions required to obtain favorable results would also be reduced.
